Shelby and Lulu were laying down in bed, doing what they did best. She had his hand and was playing with his fingers. Her head lay on his chest and her feet hung off the bed. With his other hand Lulu played with Shelby's hair.
“Let's talk about the wedding.” Shelby said looking up at Lulu.
“Okay. What do you have in mind?”
“I don't want a big wedding. I'd rather have a little get together.”
“How small is small?”
“Just family and close friends.”
“Hell, if you wanted to elope I would.” Lulu said kissing Shelby on the forehead.
“Okay. So a small wedding.”
“If that's what you want Babe.” Lulu replied.
“Yeah.” She smiled. “And I was thinking maybe it could be on the beach.”
“The beach?”
“Yeah, the beach. I don't want anything fancy, and the beach is romantic.”
“If that's what you want, I'm fine with it. As long as we have a huge after party.”
“Hell yeah!” Shelby said kissing Lulu's hand.
“Where do you want to go for our honeymoon?”
“I've always wanted to go to Hawaii.”
“What about Puerto Rico? I could show you were I used to live, and you could meet all the people down there.”
“Is that where you really want to go?”
“Kinda. I haven't been in awhile.”
“Okay. If that's where you want to go.” Shelby said looking up at him. He looked down at her and leaned into kiss her.
There was a knock on the door and Keith walked in. “I have news.”
“What?” Shelby asked looking at him.
“The guys have a plan to fuck up your marriage.”
“What?” Lulu and Shelby asked.
“I don't know what they're planning but I know that they're up to something. They think Shelby can do better and that Lulu is jumping into this.”
“Are you serious?” Lulu asked, getting annoyed.
“Yeah, and it'll probably happen at the party.” Keith said looking from Shelby to Lulu.
“That is fucking ridicules! How is our marriage any of their fucking business? I'll tell you it's not! It's none of any of their business! And I'm gonna break Daniel's neck!” Shelby said stomping out of the room. She couldn't believe it. She told Daniel that Lulu wasn't going anywhere, and yet he's sitting there making plans with Izzy, Denny, Andy, Mike, and Ace to ruin what was going to be the rest of Shelby and Lulu's lives. How the fuck could he do that? He was supposed to be her best friend.
Briana was sitting at the kitchen table, with her phone glued to her ear. She was waiting for Dan to get back on the phone. She had something to tell him. Something important. She waited too long to tell him and she simply couldn't wait any longer. The news was burning inside of her and if she waited any longer, it might just burn a hole in her stomach.
“Hello?” Dan asked getting back to the phone.
“I have something to tell you.”
“What?”
“I don't know how to tell you this...”
“Just tell me. You know I don't like to wait. You know that I hate when you tell me that there's something that you've been keeping from me and you don't want to tell me.”
“I'm pregnant.” Bre said as Liz stopped in her tracks.
She was walking toward the kitchen but the news of Briana's pregnancy was shocking. Thoughts were running through her head as she rushed toward Sasha in the living room. “Come.” Liz said pulling Sasha onto the porch.
“What? It's freaking cold out here!”
“Briana's pregnant.”
“And why should....wait! Her and Lulu!” Sasha said putting her hand up to her face.
“Yup her and Lulu. And she doesn't look pregnant. So she can only be like 2 or 3 months. And if I'm not mistaken, her and Lulu happened about 2 and a half months ago!”
“Does Shibb know?”
“NO! And she can't find out. Things are finally going good with her and Lulu. And they're going to get married Sash. If Shibb finds out then the wedding is off, and she'll never be about to look at Briana the same.”
“Maybe she can be the baby's step mom.”
“Shibb can't do that. She can't raise some other girl's baby. She can't be with Lulu if she knows that Briana gave him the one thing that every guy wants. She can't give him a baby. Shibb can't give him a little Lulu. But Briana just might have.”
“You think she'll just stop talking to the both of them?” Sasha asked.
“I think that she'll break. I think she'll think that Briana will come between her and Lulu. Bre and Lu will always have a connection if that baby's his. A connection that Shelby can never give him.”
“She's strong.”
“She can only be strong for so long. She got threw the Vici thing. The Bre and Lulu thing. The Daniel and Lulu thing. But she's getting closer and closer to her breaking point. I don't think that she can take Briana being pregnant with Lulu's baby.”
“So we keep this on the down low. And we do everything in our power to make sure Shibbz doesn't find out about Briana.” Sasha said as they silently walked back into the house.
The door opened and Izzy's head turned to see who it was. Ruga walked in and he was covered in dirt, mud, and leaves. “What the fuck happened to you bro?” Izzy asked keeping his distance.
“I was looking for fucking service on my phone, cause the reception in this house is ass. So I went out to the back porch and I had a bar. So I walked off the porch, and kept walking until I could find more service. But by then, I was in the middle of the fucking woods, and I didn't know how to get back. So I tried to call someone, but my fucking phone lost service! So I was looking for somewhere to sit cause my legs fucking hurt, but then I heard a loud ass grunt. I fucking turn around and see this big ass muthafuckin bear! The fucking thing was 2 feet away!! So I get up and I run!!! And I keep fucking running until I lose the bear. I lean up against this tree and I'm fucking stung by a bee! Bitch stung me in the arm!” Ruga explained.
Izzy started laughing, what else could he do? Ruga shook his head in disbelief and walked upstairs.
Lulu walked into the hallway and seen Drew walking toward him. Once Drew seen Lulu he turned the other way. Before he could get away, Lulu grabbed him and pulled him into Lulu and Shelby's bedroom. Lulu pushed Drew up against the wall before he started talking. “What the fuck are you trying to do? I heard about what you Ace, Izzy, Denny, Daniel and Mike plan on doing to me and Shelby!” Lulu yelled getting annoyed. “What do you think you're gonna do!?” Lulu demanded as his grip on Drew tightened.
He was about to answer Lulu when the door opened and David walked in. he had a smile on his face and ran to hug Lulu. Drew took the opportunity to run downstairs. “Brother!” David yelled putting Lulu back on the ground.
“D! What the hell are you doing here?”
“I fucking heard that you asked Shelby to marry you. I had to hear on fucking facebook. You couldn't even pick up the fucking phone and tell a brother?”
“There's been a lot going on. I don't even know where the fucking time has gone.”
“What do you mean there's been a lot going on?”
“Shibb found out that I hooked up with her friend. And then I thought the wedding was off, but somehow she fucking forgave me. I thought I lost her primo.” Lulu said sitting on the bed.
“Damn. That's some fucked up shit.”
“Nah, you wanna hear what's fucked up? Fucking Izzy tried to get with Shibbz.”
“What!”
“Yeah. I just wish I had some fucking time to myself every once and a while. But in this fucking house you can't get that shit.” Lulu said rolling his eyes.
“Wow primo. So who's the pregnant chick?” David asked changing the subject.
“What pregnant chick?”
“The one downstairs. She just told some dude on the phone.”
“What does she look like?”
“She's white, short. Her hair was down and light brown and she wore a lot of makeup.”
Lulu rushed over to the dresser and grabbed a picture. He showed it to David and told him to point her out, and David pointed to Bre. “No! No! No! You must have heard wrong. You had to have.”
“Nah bro. She clearly told the person on the phone that she was pregnant.”
“That's Bre.”
“The one that...oh shit.” David said as Lulu ran his fingers through his hair.
Drew rushed away from Lulu's room as quick as he could. He didn't want to have to explain to Lulu what him and the boys really thought. He quickly went into the basement where Daniel was at the bar. “Dude you won't believe what just happened.” Drew said sitting down next to him.
“What?” Daniel asked looking at him.
“Lulu knows. He knows about the plan to break him and Shelby up.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yeah.” Drew said disappointed.
“There must be a snitch.”
“Who the fuck would do that shit?”
“Fucking Izzy! He wants to get with Shelby so what better way to do that then to tell Shelby?”
“Fucking Izzy!” Drew said as Daniel poured him a drink.
Shelby walked out into the hallway, her blood pressure rising. How could Daniel do that shit? He was supposed to be there when she needed him and yet this bitch was plotting to get her and Lulu to break up? This isn't a game anymore; this is real life.
She walked downstairs, and checked the living room, kitchen and dinning room for Daniel. She sees Chanel and asks if she's seen Daniel.
“No I haven't.”
“Can we talk?” Shelby asked walking toward the back porch.
“Sure my love.” Chanel said following her.
They sat on the steps and let the breeze seep through their bodies. They let the smell of Autumn fill their lungs, “I don't think this party is a good idea.” Shelby said after a few seconds of silence.
“Is this because you're worried that Moncia will show up?”
“No.”
“You're worried that someone will show up and try to get with Lulu.” She paused. “No one is going to take Lulu away from you Shibbz. We won't let that happen. You guys are going to be together forever, no one will stand in your way.”
David walked downstairs, he was going to get to the bottom of what was going on. He looks around the room and sees that Briana is sitting alone in the kitchen. He decided to walk up to her and sit down. “Heard about the baby. Congratz.”
“Who are you?” Bre asked confused.
“Lulu's best friend.” David said as all the color drained from Briana's face.
“You can't tell Shelby. No matter what. The baby will be my boyfriends, whether it's Lulu's or not.” Briana replied, trying to remain calm.
“You can't keep Lulu's baby away from him!” David said getting mad.
“Yes I can. And I will. This is my baby and I will decide what is best for him or her. You can't tell me how to raise this baby, and no one else can either.”
“You don't know what is best for the baby. How would you feel if your mom kept you from your real father?”
“I would have been better off. A child deserves a father that will be there for him or her when he's needed. The best thing for my child is for him or her to think of Dan as their father.”
“How fucking fair is that?”
“Life's not fair. I'm the mother. I'll be carrying the bay for 9 fucking months, so I will decide what is best. And what's best right now is for Lulu to be with Shelby and forget that he was ever with me. It was a mistake and it shouldn't change the rest of his life. He deserves to be with Shelby and she deserves to be with him.”
“So you're just going to take Lu's baby from him? The only real kid he could ever have?” David asked as Bre silently walked out of the kitchen.
