Chapter 2: Regret?

Shelby walked into the house, leaving the girls outside. She stepped into the kitchen and seen Izzy.

“Congrats Shibb.” He said as Shelby grabbed a can of Dr. Pepper.

“Thanks Izzy.” She said sitting next to him at the table.

“Did he really want you to get an abortion?”

“Yup.”

“Damn. Well you don't need him.”

“Thanks Iz.” Shelby said kissing him on the cheek.

“Welcome, and I'm here if you need me.” Izzy said giving her a hug.

“I love you.” Shelby said standing up.

“Love you too nigga.” She laughed and walked upstairs to her room.

“You think Lu will turn around?” Bre asked, breaking the silence.

“I hope he does.” Nellz said.

“He better or I'm breaking his arm.” Liz said spitefully.

“I don't know. Luisto never struck me as the fatherly type.” Sasha said standing up.

“Yeah, me either.” Bre agreed.

“let's hope he changes his mind. Shibbz is gonna need him; whether she admits it or not.” Chanel said opening the door.

“And we all know she won't admit she needs help.” Bre said as they walked inside.

Shelby took a deep breath before walking into her room—knowing that Litho was in there. She opened the door and seen him laying on the bed, her bag by the door. Unopened, untouched.

He looked at her as she dragged it to the end of the bed. Shelby wasn't leaving, he had to realize it.

She put the bag on the bed and unzippered it. “You're staying in here?” Lulu asked as she started putting her pictures and jewelery on the dresser.

“Why shouldn't I? I can stay in a room with you without sleeping with you.” Shelby answered never looking back at him.

“I just thought you'd leave.”

“You can deny my baby all you want. That's your choice. I'm not going to cry over it. It's your fucking loss because I will raise this baby with...or without you.” Shelby said pulling out a picture of her first sonogram.

“Whats that?” Lu asked sitting up. She tossed him the picture and finished putting her clothes away. “Wow.” He mumbled.

“5 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days.” she said taking off her sweater to reveal her baby bump.

“Wow.” He mumbled she could see him through the mirror. He had a sight smile on his face and she could tell she was getting to him. Shelby was breaking down his “no baby” barrier, and he was warming up to the idea of how great this could be.

“We can't keep sneaking around like this.” Jill said backing away from Daniel.

“C'mon. It's fun.” He said kissing her.

“I don't want fun. I want real.”

“I'm with Lexi. All we can have is fun.”

“No Daniel. We can have something real. If you just let go of Lexi, then you and I can be real.:

“Jill, I love Lexi. All I was looking for was fun.”

“Fuck you Daniel!” Jill yelled walking out of the room.

Lexi walked in and looked at Daniel. “What was that all about?”

“I don't know. That bitch is crazy.” Daniel said kissing Lexi. They were together since they were kids. Daniel needed a little fun. If he couldn't get it from Jill, there were other girls.
