“GAME TIME!” Keith yelled from the living room.
“The fuck?” Shelby asked walking into the living room. Daniel and Lexi were sitting in the reclining chair. Next to them on the couch was Jill, Nellz, and Norland. Then on the opposite couch was Kassy, Liz and Bre. Sasha and Michael were in a recliner near the window. Ruga, Andy and Ace were on the last couch near the kitchen. Keith , Mike and Izzy were on the 3 bean bag chairs. There was on recliner left, and Shelby and Lulu were still standing.
“DAMN!” Daniel said looking at Shelby's belly.
“Thanks Buddii.” she said looking back at Lulu. He nodded his head and they sat in the chair.
“So what are we playing?” Liz asked taking a sip of her Henny and Red Bull.
“We should play Truth or dare.” Bre suggested putting her feet up.
“Iight. I'm down.” Drew said.
“Yay! I'll start.” Chanel said looking around the room. “Ace—Truth or dare?”
“Dare.”
“I dare you to kiss the cutest girl in the room.” Nellz said with a smile.
Ace smiled as Drew laughed and dapped him up.
“Bet it's Kassy.” Shelby whispered to Lulu.
“Nah—It's deff Lexi.” He replied laughing.
Ace got up and walked over to Kassy, Liz and Bre.
“Told you.” Shelby said as Ace kissed Bre. Shelby gasped and slapped Lulu.
“Oh yeah!” Keith said as Lulu made his sex noises.
“Stop! That's my Twinn.” Shelby said slapping Lulu and laughing. Ace smiled at Bre and walked back to his seat, getting dap from Keith and Drew. Shelby smiled at Bre who blushed.
“Now it's your turn to ask someone Ace.” Nellz said.
“Iight—Keith, truth or dare?”
“Truth.”
“Is it true you'd fuck Sasha?”
“Oh, no doubt about it.” Keith said laughing.
“This game is stupid.” Daniel said pouring a shot.
“You guys wanna see my sonogram?” Shelby asked with a smile.
“Omg! Yes!” Nellz yelled.
“Will you go get it?” Shelby asked Lulu showing off her smile.
“Sure.” He said kissing her forehead.
Once Lulu left the living room Liz spoke. “So are yall together? Has he accepted the baby? Is he happy about it?”
“I don't know.” Shelby said as Izzy, Keith, Drew, Ruga, and Ace walked upstairs.
“I hope he is though.” She said after a few seconds.
“You don't need him.” Daniel said as Jill shot him a look.
“I know but I want him to be in his baby's life.”
“Your kid's gonna have a great life with or without Lulu.”
“i know Buddii—Will you go grab me a soda?” Shelby asked, not wanting to continue their conversation.
“Sure Buddii.” After Daniel left, the living room was quiet.
Everyone knew that Lulu would change his mind about the baby. It was only a matter of time. He wouldn't continue to deny his baby...right?
Lulu sat there, looking at the picture. That was his baby. It was a part of him, a part of Shelby. He was going to be a dad—And that shit scared him.
Lulu was deep in thought when Drew, Ace, Keith, Ruga and Izzy walked in. “What cha looking at?” Izzy asked as the guys sat around the room.
Lulu didn't speak. He just passed the picture to Izzy. “Damn Bro.” Ruga said after Izzy passed him the picture.
“What are you gonna do?” Izzy asked looking at Lu.
“Yeah—Where do you and Shibb stand?” Drew asked looking around the room; seeing Shelby's stuff.
“I don't even know Primo. Like this shits real. That's my fucking baby.” Lulu answered.
“You sure Primo?” Ruga asked.
“Are you fucking serious? He's all Shibbz wants.” Izzy said with a confused look on his face.
“Just keeping it real. They ain't in a relationship. She could of fucked with other dudes. Litho fucked with other bitches.” Ruga pointed out.
“Does she know you fucked with pother bitched?” Ace asked.
“What the fuck can she say? They ain't together.” Drew said.
“It's whatever Primo. Just watch out. You want your BM on your side. 'Cause once you hold your baby—you're never gonna want to be away. Fuck Shibbz over and you fuck shit up with your baby.” Keith said, speaking from his own experiences.
The picture got back to Lulu; leaving him speechless. Maybe being a dad wasn't as horrid as it seemed. Maybe he could do it. He's not alone, he has Shelby. He knew that for sure.
“They make me sick.” Kassy whispered to Liz.
“Don't worry Babez. You don't need either of them.” She replied.
“Shibbz, lemme see your baby bump.” Sasha said getting off the chair.
“Sire.” Shelby said getting up. All eyes went on her. She stood in the middle of the living room and lifted her shirt up, to reveal her baby bump.
“OMG!” Bre said walking over to Shelby and Sasha.
“I can't believe this shit. I still remember meeting you at Nina's almost 7 years ago.” Sasha said as the boys walked downstairs. They walked into the kitchen, leaving Lulu standing next to Shelby.
She bit her lip and smiled at him. “Wow.” Lulu mumbled putting his hand on her tummy smiling.
Sasha quickly took out her phone and took a picture. “That's too freakin' cute!” she said sitting back down.
“Daddy Lulu.” Ruga whispered.
“You...We lost 'em.” Drew said.
“It's better to be a dad then a deadbeat.” Izzy said ignoring them.
“Being a father is more then just being there through the pregnancy.” Ace said.
After that they were quiet, no one sure of what to say next.
