“Another round of shots!” Daniel yelled as him, Drew, Ace and Ruga passed them around the room.
“Here; I made this for you.” Lulu said handing Shibb a shot.
“I'm pregnant—I can't drink.” Shelby replied looking at Lulu.
“It's Dr. Pepper.” He said, knowing it was her favorite soda.
“I knew that.” She said laughing.
“CHEERS!” They yelled.
“I love you.” Lulu said sitting on Shelby's lap. He took her hands and pulled he close.
“I love you too.” Shelby said smiling. He kissed her, and for just one moment, everything with them was perfect.
“Liz!” Daniel called from the kitchen with Mike.
“What?” Liz asked getting up to see what they wanted.
“Mike told me he wanted to fuck you.” Daniel siad laughing.
“Are you serious? You really called me over for that?”
“I;m fucking serious!”
“No you're not!”
“Ask him if you don't believe me.” Daniel said walking out of the kitchen.
“He's such a fucking joke!” Liz said annoyed.
“He was serious though.” Mike said looking at the floor.
“Really?” Liz asked shocked.
“Hell yeah. You're bangable.” Liz was speechless. All she could do is smile. “Come on.” Mike said taking her hand and leading her to his room.
There was a knock on their bedroom door and Lulu got up to open the door.
“Primo—You left us.” Drew said, fighting to stand up.
“Primo, maybe another night. I'm tired.” Lulu said.
“You're tired or Shelby's tired?”
“I'm tired.”
“Really? 'Cause I know for a fact that you only stop drinking when she tells you you've had enough.”
“Primo, you don't know what you're saying—you're drunk.” Lulu said not wanting to fight with Drew.
“She's changed you Primo. That bitch got you pussy whipped.” Drew said pointing at Shelby.
“What the fuck did you just call her?” Lulu asked taking a step toward Drew.
“I called her a bitch.”
“Don't!”
“Why? Because she's having your baby? You don't even know if it's your baby. You don't know if she was fucking with other guys while you fucked other bitches.”
“Andy. Relax. Why don't you guys have this conversation tomorrow, when you're both sober.” Shelby said getting out of bed.
“She gonna start fighting your battles too Lu? You gonna start having your BM fight for you since you cant fight for yourself?” Drew asked, ignoring what Shelby said.
“She's not fighting for me, she's fighting with me. Maybe if one of your girls stuck around long enough you'd know the difference.”
“Shut the fuck up nigga. I don't need a bitch to fight for me. I run my life dolo. Ain't no bitch taking me down.” Drew said as Lu pushed him into the hallway.
“Call Shelby a bitch one more fucking time and iIll knock your fucking teeth out!” Lulu said clenching his fists.
“Andy why don't we go downstairs.” Shelby said grabbing him by the arm, trying to stop them before they got out of hand.,
“Let go bitch.” Drew said shaking his arm to get her off.
Shelby's hand slipped from Drew's arm, sending her backwards down the stairs. Lulu reacted by pushing Drew out of the way and rushing down the stairs after Shelby.
“Shibb! Shibb! Come one. Answer me.” Lulu said gently tapping her face. He looked down and seen blood forming around her body. 911 was his only option.
“What did you just do?” Lexi asked Daniel as he left the kitchen.
“Told Liz that Mike wanted to fuck her.” He said laughing.
“Are you serious?”
“Hell yeah.” Daniel said with a sly smile on his face.
“You're such a bitch.” Kassy said from across the room.
“Nah—I'm just keeping it real.”
“You know that Mike ain't for that! She's just gonna get hurt!”
“Does it look like she'd getting hurt?” Daniel asked as they seen Mike and Liz walking upstairs.
“You're still an asshole.” Kassy said crossing her arms.
“Whatever.” Daniel replied sitting down with Lexi.
The living room was quiet.
“Hey.” Ace said sitting on the arm of the couch next to Bre.
“Hey.” she said blushing.
He was about to speak again until everyone heard Drew start yelling. When he stopped Lulu started. Then Shelby.
“Let go bitch.” Drew yelled.
Then Shelby fell down the stairs, causing Daniel to run to her side as Lulu joined. Lulu tried to get her to answer him but it was too late. She was uncontentious. Lulu looked at Daniel and quickly called 911.
it was the first night and shit was already getting out of hand.. it's all fun and fucking games until someone gets hurt. Maybe now Drew will realize when he's had enough to drink. Maybe now these people will realize that enough is enough.
“Help me get her up.” Daniel suggested.
“Nah. Let them get her up.” Lulu said, his hands shaking. They all say there in silence. Two minutes went bu and it felt like two years
the ambulance came and they took Shelby away. Lulu , Daniel, Bre, Sasha and Izzy were fast behind. They needed to make sure Shelby was okay. That she woke up . They needed to know that the baby was still alive.
